Join out actors, producer-directors and casting directors to hear success stories and challenges facing LGBT actors. Featuring actors Bryan Batt (“Mad Men”), Candis Cayne (“Dirty Sexy Money”), Wilson Cruz (“He’s Just Not That Into You”), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (“Modern Family”), Michelle Paradise (“Exes & Ohs”) and Jonathan Slavin (“Better Off Ted”); Emmy-winning producer-director Paris Barclay and Oscar-winning producer Dan Jinks; and Casting Directors Tammara Billik and Dan Shaner.

In honor of National coming Out Day, this month’s special topic is Homophobia & Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity Discrimination. Pursuing a career in the entertainment industry is often rewarding… and sometimes difficult. Especially when faced with discrimination, sexual harassment, pre-employment inquiries, predatory producers and issues of underemployment and underrepresentation.

What EVERY Member Should Know to Empower and Protect Yourself in the Workplace and Entertainment Industry:


•        How to recognize and report workplace harassment and discrimination
•        Guild resources available to empower and protect you
•        Member-led diversity and equal employment opportunities committees
